Vaka Digital ("Vaka", "we", "us") is run by Freedom Matimbura from Harare, Zimbabwe, and works with clients worldwide. This policy explains what personal information we collect through vakadigital.com and how we use it.

What we collect

• Information you give us in the chat or message form: your name, email address, business name, optional WhatsApp number and details about the website you want.
• Messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.
• Basic technical data our hosting provider records automatically, such as IP address and browser type, used for security and keeping the site running.

How we use it

• To design and send you a free website sample.
• To reply to your questions, plan your project and send you quotes or invoices.
• To deliver, launch and support the website you buy from us.

We do not sell your information and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them.

Who we share it with

We use trusted services to run Vaka: Netlify (website hosting and form handling), WhatsApp and email providers (communication), and payment providers when you choose to pay. They only receive what they need to provide their service. If we build your site on a platform such as WordPress, GoDaddy or Shopify, the details needed to set up your account are shared with that platform with your agreement.

Payments

We never ask for card details by chat or email. Card payments are handled by the payment provider you choose. Stablecoin payments are made directly on the blockchain network you select.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months, and project records for as long as needed for accounting and support. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, US state privacy laws, POPIA in South Africa or the Cyber and Data Protection Act in Zimbabwe), you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
